Oretha has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve been using their services for more than two years now, initially for my aging mom who has Parkinson’s, and more recently for my dad following a hip fracture.
When it comes to caring for our parents, especially as they grow older and become more vulnerable, finding people you can genuinely trust is priceless. And that is exactly what Oretha has given us.
Every person who has accompanied my mom has been incredibly kind, patient and compassionate. They don’t simply accompany her to her appointments; they genuinely care for her. They make sure she is comfortable, check if she is hungry or needs anything, put her at ease, and constantly ensure that she is safe and well looked after. There is a level of attentiveness and warmth that goes far beyond what I would expect from a service.
I’m also incredibly grateful for the detailed reports after every doctor’s visit. Knowing exactly what happened, what the doctor said and what needs to be followed up on gives me such peace of mind, particularly when I can’t always be there myself.
Oretha is also wonderfully responsive and easy to communicate with. Everything is handled with such care, professionalism and attention to detail. And they are consistently punctual and dependable — qualities that matter enormously when it comes to our parents.
Ultimately, what makes Oretha special is the humanity behind the service. They care for my parents with a kindness that makes me feel they are not simply being looked after, but genuinely cared about.
For that, I am deeply grateful.

I’m very grateful that we found Oretha’s Senior Care for my mother in law. We wanted a place where she could stay active and constantly stimulated, both mentally and physically and we found exactly  that at Oretha’s Senior Care. I really like the variety of activities they have for the seniors like brain stimulating games,  compulsory morning exercise and activities that  encourage them to think, learn and participate.  Most importantly, my mother in law is happy waking up in the morning and going for her classes. Thank you Oretha, Siti and the team for taking such good care of my mother in law. I have been very impressed with Oretha’s concierge services for the elderly.  Their service provides such valuable peace of mind, especially when caring for an elderly parent.

I particularly appreciate how they send timely reminders for appointments and provide detailed post-appointment reports, which makes it much easier for family members to stay informed and keep track of their loved one’s care.

A special mention goes to Yee Mooi, who has been exceptional. She is patient, kind, thoughtful, and always punctual.  More importantly, she genuinely cares about my father and goes beyond simply providing a service. Her attentiveness and caring nature make a real difference, and it is comforting to know that my father is in such good hands when he is with her.

Oretha and her team, including Jit and Yi Mooi, have been a lifeline for my family. In 2018/19, within a very short space of time my father's dementia advanced, my eldest sister was diagnosed with cancer and my mother with Multiple Systemic Atrophy. Dealing with multiple hospital appointments and therapy sessions for all three of them was a real challenge for my  sister and I, especially since I was based outside of Malaysia, and the burden fell on my 2nd sister. The professional care and services offered by Oretha's team included door to door service to take our parents for doctor visits when we were unable too. They wrote  detailed reports of the what the doctors said, provided services to pick up medications and advice on how to navigate PPUM. After my father passed away in 2023, we arranged for Oretha's team to take my mother and her carer out for weekly lunch outings, to cheer my mother up. The team is very knowledgeable and professional, respectful of the elderly and willing to go the extra mile when necessary. I am very thankful for the care and support that Oretha and our concierge, Corrinne provide my elderly parents - taking them for hospital visits, dealing with the doctors and hospital staff to get what is required, collection of medicines, providing reports and feedback on medical care, getting appointments, giving us reminders, resolving issues with the hospital as and when, giving us advice etc etc..
